Information Security Program Manager

Job Summary

The Information Security Program Manager has proactive responsibilities for assuring that projects are managed and completed related to the implementing cyber security solutions for manufacturers for the Midwest Region as well as nationally with affiliate organizations.  The incumbent interacts with a diverse group of individuals including consulting/delivery partners, clients, marketing and sales, and other affiliate organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage contractor/partner resources and coordinate delivered consulting services in addition to direct customer delivery to assure a high level of client satisfaction and their compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Track progress of The Michigan Manufacturing Technology’s client offerings, positioning services and developing awareness training for security related opportunities (regulatory, risk management, etc.)
  • Project manage contractor delivered Cyber Physical Security services
  • Team with Client Advisors to support proposals, solution development, and project tracking.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity and Cyber Physical Security technologies, assessments, and standards to develop solutions to assist manufacturers
  • Provide and maintain documentation for manufacturers such as regulatory compliance, standards, assessments, information security, information and operational technologies, workforce training, threats and vulnerabilities
  • Contribute to product offerings and pricing strategies for the practice.
  • Continuously monitor and validate the financial viability and sustainability Cyber Physical Security practice
  • Provide input and guidance in rating of contractor performance, capabilities and capacities
  • Within program guidelines, coordinate and deliver documented program support (such as case studies, press releases and support letters) from customers
  • Contribute and provide input for marketing tools such as The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center’s website, e-Books, online blogs, etc.
  • Perform follow-up evaluations of projects to determine economic impact, seek additional improvement needs, develop positive customer relationships, and to obtain feedback on services and effectiveness

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and four years’ work experience managing information security in a large and complex environment; or other equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills.
  • Exceptional Project Management skills. PMP certification desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral, written and listening
  • Consulting with industrial clients desired.
  • Prior military experience desired
